History
Schlebach Maschinen GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of machines and equipment for standing seam technology.
In 1979, Bartolosch GmbH, owned by Mr. Friedhelm Bartolosch, acquired the rights to Schlebach, Heilbronn, and founded the company “Schlebach-Maschinen GmbH” – machines for seaming technology. The new location in Friedewald is in the Westerwald, nestled in a hilly landscape in the German border triangle of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Through tireless hard work and consistently good relationships with customers and employees, the company became a globally renowned specialist in standing seam technology. As the name “Schlebach” was also known beyond Germany’s borders, it was decided to continue operating under this name.
The major breakthrough came with the development of the first width-adjustable profiling machine in 1981. The leading position that had now been achieved created high expectations on the market, which were also met in the following years with the developments of the round arch forming machine (1985), the EHA notching unit (1989) and, last but not least, the QUADRO profiling machine (1997).
Through continuous investment, the “small craft business” has become a state-of-the-art and highly efficient company over the last 30 years.
The Schlebach company, now managed by the two managing directors Patric Meeth and Christoph Gerigk, is a purely family-owned business with many long-standing employees. Together with Bartolosch GmbH , it now employs around 200 people in a 10,000 m² production facility.
Even today, Schlebach still operates according to the motto “Everything from a single source,” because planning, design, manufacturing, and global sales all take place under one roof.
This guarantees optimal performance and a high standard of quality.
Motivated by the success of recent years, the Schlebach team will continue to make every effort in the future to maintain and further expand its leading position in the market through innovation.
